28 Jun Creating Your Hospital Plan

As your due date approaches, your Cradle of Hope counselor will work with you to develop your hospital plan, which sets out your desires and expectations for your time in the hospital.  You will choose who gets to visit you, who will be with you in the delivery room, and whether you want to be medicated during delivery. Also, you can decide if the baby will stay in your room or in the nursery, when you want the adopting family to arrive at the hospital, whether you will name the baby, and whether you want to be discharged at the same time as the baby.  We will help you design the hospital experience that works best for you and will communicate your plans to the hospital staff.  Your Cradle of Hope counselor will be at the hospital to provide support and to do everything possible to make sure your hospital stay proceeds as you hoped.
